1. What We Collect

Account data: Email address, name (optional), and hashed password when you sign up.

Customer data: Events, logs, and metadata that you send to GoodLogs via our SDK or API. This is your data — we store it to provide the service.

Usage data: Anonymous SDK telemetry (init events, error counts) to improve the product. This can be disabled via telemetry: false.

2. How We Use Your Data

  • Provide the GoodLogs service (dashboard, analytics, AI debugging)
  • Process payments via Paddle
  • Send transactional emails (alerts, account notifications)
  • Improve the product based on anonymous usage patterns

3. AI Processing

When you use AI Chat, your logs and events are sent to Azure OpenAI (GPT-4o) for processing. This data is used solely to generate your response and is not used to train AI models. Azure OpenAI's data processing terms apply.

4. Data Storage & Security

All data is stored in Azure PostgreSQL with encryption at rest and TLS in transit. Passwords are hashed with Argon2id. API keys are stored as SHA-256 hashes.

5. Data Sharing

We do not sell your data. We share data only with:

  • Azure — infrastructure hosting and AI processing
  • Paddle — payment processing

6. Data Retention

Customer data (events, logs) is retained according to your plan (7/30/90 days). Account data is retained until you delete your account. You can export or delete all data at any time via the GDPR endpoints.

7. Your Rights (GDPR)

You have the right to access, export, rectify, and delete your personal data. Use the GDPR API endpoints or contact support@goodlogs.ajaysharma.dev.

8. Cookies

We use localStorage for authentication tokens only. No tracking cookies, no third-party analytics, no advertising cookies.
